About the rug:

This is a hand-knotted rug with 160,000 knots per square meter in a double knot construction. It is made of face yarn that is Egyptian wool with bamboo silk inlays, and the warp and weft are 100% Egyptian cotton. The pile height is about 5mm and the net weight is approximately 3500 grams per square meter.
About the design:

Inspired by the intricate patterns and geometric motifs of 13th-century Islamic art and architecture in Historic Cairo. This hand-knotted beauty pays tribute to the geometric shapes of minarets, wooden window panes, and artistic ceilings from this era.
