About the design: This Pearly Ibis hand-knotted rug by Shewekar takes Ancient Egypt inspiration into the modern home. Shewekar adds finesse to our beloved Lotus flower by elongating its stems evoking a sensation of movement, and contrasting it with a simple geometric design and a royal green fringe. This rug is part of the "Weaving Eternity Collection" that debuted at the Grand Egyptian Museum, Cairo, soft opening in November 2022.
